Women's Training/Rehabilitation Programs

Woman is the very center and backbone of the Indian family. Women play multiple roles though women in India have not been given their rightful phase in the Society.   Women in India often are taken for granted and their potential underestimated and often not utilized to the maximum.  However, children look up to their mother for guidance on social, cultural, educational and religious development. Awareness to and empowerment of women in their roles in family and society will lead to a well-balanced family structure, which is vital for proper growth of the society.

The South Asia Council for Community and Children in Crisis has a unique definition for women's liberation or emancipation.  It is to instill a mind set in women that would help develop their inner talents, become more responsible and responsive mothers and continue to have a commitment for a reformative and redemptive role in the families and the society.

SAC-CCC is presently running a project for women to empower them by offering training in skills development ultimately helping them to become self reliant.
