The South Asia Council for Community and Children in Crisis (SAC-CCC) is registered in India under the Societies Registration Act, 1960 (S. No. 878/92-93) and is established for the care of the orphans, the disabled, and deprived children and communities facing acute problems for a safe and reasonable living without distinction of caste, religion, or nationality. The Government of India has recognized the SAC-CCC as a charitable organization and has accorded permission through its Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) to raise funds overseas to serve the aims and objectives of the organization. The SAC-CCC has been accorded with 80G against which there is 50% tax exemption. SAC-CCC Deutsche Sektion e.V. registered in Frankfurt, Germany is an organ of the SAC-CCC with the status of a charitable organization. Mr. Bernd Fechler is the chairman of the Deutsche Sektion. Mrs. Annina Policante-Schön is the chairperson and Rev. Klaus Stahlberger and Dr. Paul Stadler are the coordinators. |
