The South Asia Council for Community and Children in Crisis (SAC-CCC) was founded by Dr. D. Samuel Issmer in 1992-93 towards equipping, facilitating and rehabilitating children and communities in crisis situations in ways that lead a fuller and more joyous life.
The SAC-CCC from its inception has been carrying out programs successfully
-
for children - street children, working children, orphans, differently abled children, social orphans, girl children, very young children and the youth;
-
the socially and economically deprived women in the rural villages and urban slum communities have been encouraged and facilitated to equip, help and emancipate themselves from the marginalized, deprived and dispossessed situations created by their fellow humans;

Health Care delivery systems to the disadvantaged rural and urban slum communities have been the priority and attended to by the Council and rural family economic development through Cow Project;

Training of personnel in various fields aiming at utilization of human talent resources.
These services are offered without distinction to religion, creed, caste and nationality.
SAC-CCC is registered in Karnataka under the Societies Act and is a non-profit Social Service Organization. It is recognized by both State and Central Governments under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi. Community and Children in Crisis Inc. (CCC Inc.), registered in Atlanta, Georgia is the parent organization which acts for and on behalf of SAC-CCC exclusively and enjoys 501(c)(3) status under tax exemption.

The Devanbu and Joseph Memorial Christian Mission Hospital

SAC-CCC aims to meet the health care concerns of the marginalized people deprived of health care facilities in the area through this Rural Hospital at Rasanapalli-Peyanapalli, Chittoor District in the State of Andhra Pradesh. It covers a population of over 1,00,000 people from more than 100 revenue villages and hamlets in the whole area.
This hospital has been a real blessing to the people in the are because of its easy accessibility and low cost. People are happy and satisfied to receive good health care services at the hospital with low cost.
